What a wonderful week...

Our adventure is complete and we have returned home.  What a fabulous time we had with Mom and Paul in South Dakota!
Our last day there we rode the 1880 train. This old steam engine is one of the few remaining in the country. It took us 20 miles between Keystone and Hill City, South Dakota.

This train runs on recycled oil and water.  It was a fun trip.

Sunday evening we splurged and went into town for a nice meal at Ruby's House in Keystone.  We all had buffalo in one form or another.  The food was great and the company was even better.

We really enjoyed our time at the American Pines cabins in Keystone.  This is the view out our front door.  We were down in a valley in the Black Hills.

We packed up and headed east Monday morning.  We had some more memories to make and a wonderful family waiting for us in Sioux Falls.  Paul's granddaughter Sonya, her husband Lance, their sons Gabriel and Peter and daughter Hannah invited us to stop in!

We had a wonderful visit and meal with them!  Spent the night in Sioux City, Iowa. Then Tuesday we decided to just head for home.

We all believe our South Dakota adventure was a success!  We are blessed to have been able to share this past week with Mom and Paul.  Memories were made that will not be forgotten.

Until next time...

Take care
Rog and Nita
